Help Build the Future

Since 1946, our Y has fostered meaningful and lasting personal and social change in Delaware County. This Y was founded to make an important difference in the lives of people. We are here to ensure that people continue to have access to YMCA membership, fellowship and program opportunities.  We work alongside our neighbors to ensure everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

The Y brings people together – from all backgrounds and circumstances – to create connections that transform lives and community. We have always believed that the YMCA is more than a building – the Y is about people – it is defined by the many caring and generous people who are members, staff, and program participants.

In addition to keeping your membership, you can make a charitable donation to the Y and help us ensure that we make a positive difference in the lives of people and our community.

Camp

Create a Summer of Smiles,

Laughter and Fun!

This past year has been difficult for everyone. Kids have been hit especially hard, learning remotely in front of computer screens for several hours a day. They have been sheltered from their friends and activities that help make their childhood great.

Your donation will help a child enjoy the outdoors, make new friends, regain their confidence.

A donation of:
$100 will send a child to camp for a week.
$250 will send a child to a specialty camp for 2 weeks.
$750 will send a child to camp for the whole summer.

Help us achieve our goal of bringing back those Smiles, that Laughter, and the Fun of being a kid at summer camp.

Why should you help?

Because we were all kids once, and we always remember our own experiences of Summers filled with Smiles, Laughter and Fun.

Building More

The Y is more than a building, gym, pool or group ex class.

Everything we do is in support of strengthening our community. The YMCA is more than a building the Y is about people – it is defined by the many caring and generous people who are members, staff, and program participants.

The Y is a non-profit.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Y provides crucial programs and services to more people every year. With the help of generous donors, we are able to provide financial assistance enabling members of our community to get healthy and provide safe, trusted care for their children.

The Y is your partner.

From safe spaces to academic achievement to family well-being and more, the Y is here to help strengthen our community. In addition to keeping your membership, your charitable donation will help our YMCA fund essential programs and services, maintain our facilities, and support our community. When you donate to the Y, you are making a donation towards building a stronger and better us.

Every gift makes a difference.

The Community Y Foundation Heritage Club

The Heritage Club recognizes individuals and families who have made a direct (outright) gift or planned gift to the YMCA’s Endowment Fund to ensure that YMCA programs will always be accessible to the people need them most.

Membership in the Heritage Club simply requires a commitment of a gift now or in the future that will benefit the Endowment Fund in order to ensure a strong YMCA for future generations. Gifts will be allocated to the Endowment Fund, with annual distributions determined by the Board of Directors of the Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County.
